E&P BUSINESS CONSULTING GROUP TO FOCUS ON OPTIMIZATION OF UPSTREAM OPERATIONSN IS FORMED

Schlumberger Information Solutions announced today the creation of the Schlumberger Business Consulting group, focused exclusively on the growing demand for optimization of upstream oil and gas industry operations.

Schlumberger Business Consulting offers a unique combination of more than 75 years' knowledge of the exploration and production industry and the expertise of best-in-class business consultants.

Antoine Rostand has been named managing director of the new group. In his 19-year career, Rostand has worked for Schlumberger in field operations, A.T.Kearney and EDS as principal then president of EDS France, and for SchlumbergerSema as vice president, Consulting and Systems Integration, Europe.
