AXALTO AND SIEMENS SIGN WORLDWIDE PATENT AGREEMENT

Siemens has licensed CP8 Technologies' patent portfolio for use in mobile communication products including existing GSM handsets and the evolving GPRS handset market. After extensive discussions, both companies are very pleased to have concluded license terms until the end of 2008. The agreement recognizes CP8 Technologies' contribution to the GSM/GPRS technology and allows Siemens to continue its growth in the GSM/GPRS handset markets.
