ASSETS OF ARNAV SYSTEMS INC. ACQUIRED BY SAGEM AVIONICS INC.

SAGEM Avionics Inc., has acquired, on March 12, 2004, the assets of ARNAV Systems, Inc., a company located in Puyallup, Washington. This integration, strategic for SAGEM Avionics, Inc. will complement the existing aerospace product line with LCD cockpit displays, data processing and communication systems, airborne weather service and satellite phone.

SAGEM Avionics Inc., has acquired, on March 12, 2004, the assets of ARNAV Systems, Inc., a company located in Puyallup, Washington. This integration, strategic for SAGEM Avionics, Inc. will complement the existing aerospace product line with LCD cockpit displays, data processing and communication systems, airborne weather service and satellite phone.

The first major project for the new team will be the STC certification of SAGEM Avionics' autopilot system and cockpit displays on the Ericsson S-64 Air Crane scheduled for later this year. The installation consists of two attitude and heading reference systems, four 10.4 inch solid-state displays, and a 3-axis autopilot system. Future plans call for the certification of displays and autopilots on various helicopters.

The Broadband Communication Business Group also deploys a Europe-wide network of subsidiaries, called National Sales Organization (NSO), that distributes Sagem brand products to all major European retailers. Sagem has signed a number of agreements with OEMs, meaning that Sagem products are used by the world’s leading brands and most European operators.
