SUCCESSFUL INTEGRATION OF SUN'S LATEST JAVATM TECHNOLOGY SOLUTION ANNOUNCED BY SAGEM

| SAGEM, a major international player in the telecommunications manufacturer field, today announced the successful integration of Sun's latest JavaTM technology solution, the Java Technology for the Wireless Industry (JTWI), into SAGEM's Mobile devices portfolio. |
Within the scope of this new collaboration, SAGEM relied on Sun Microsystems' Java Partner Engineering group to add a compliant JTWI implementation to its handset portfolio, which will enable the download of richer content and enhanced gaming features for the end-user and allow network operators to offer more compelling wireless data applications through a standardized environment. This will enable SAGEM to implement Sun's JTWI solution into its product portfolio in a consistent manner throughout 2004' declared Thierry Buffenoir, Senior Vice President and Managing Director of SAGEM's Mobile Phones Division.
