PATRIA VEHICLES OY & SAGEM SIGN CO-OPERATION AGREEMTN FOR MARKETING OF PATRIA AMV

PATRIA Vehicles Oy, a division of the Finnish PATRIA group and SAGEM have signed a co-operation agreement for the marketing of the PATRIA AMV armoured modular vehicle, equipped with a SAGEM 'vetronic' system (optronics associated with a battlefield management system).

This agreement materialises the strategic alliance between PATRIA and SAGEM and reinforces a previous agreement signed with PATRIA New Technologies, another division of the PATRIA Group, concerning the co-production of large quantities of thermal imagers, ordered by the Finnish Defence Material Command, in March 2003.

PATRIA is an internationally operating Aerospace and Defence Group, actively participating in the development of new technologies. PATRIA's core business areas are armoured wheeled vehicles and heavy weaponry systems including their life cycle service, defence electronics, helicopter and military aircraft life cycle support as well as demanding composite structures.
