SAGEM LAUNCH MYX-6 MULTIMEDIA MOBILE PHONE WITH BUILT-IN DIGITAL CAMERA

| After the great success in 2002 of the SAGEM myX-5, (presence in the major operators' offers all over Europe, performance in French retail channels with 52% market share in the colour screen segment), SAGEM is now launching the myX-6, a multimedia mobile phone with built-in high quality digital camera. |
We all have already during a phone call described a landscape, a child playing, a gift, an amazing or an extraordinary situation, which would have been worth a picture. With the myX-6, SAGEM offers to everyone the possibility to translate words into pictures by capturing the magic instant and sending this spontaneous picture to his/her correspondent. It's the new way to share emotions, laughs. SAGEM myX-6 introduces a new mean of communication that erases distances and enables two people or more to see and live similar things while being in two different places. Its CCD camera offers an optimal picture quality, even if weather conditions are bad or if the subjects are moving. A full set of features around picture capture are provided with myX-6 and more specifically a 3 position zoom. The camera's VGA resolution (640x480 pixels) enables you to send pictures to an e-mail address with a high level of quality, or store them in your PC and print them whenever you desire it. Its TFT display is able to maximise the rendering. This large screen (up to 12 lines / 32x40 mm) also permits to really appreciate in 65000 colours all the pictures taken, and the GPRS Class 10 meets the needs of fast data communication. The myX-6 features the best of modern technology inside a lightweight (106 gr.) and small (110x46x22mm) mobile phone. And a brilliant customisation, with animated screensavers, wallpapers, icons, 3D effects, built-in or downloadable games, picture matching with phonebook, interchangeable covers and the famous downloadable Hi-Fi ring tones which are able to integrate your favourite music hits as personal ring tones: myX-6 is unique for every user. The SAGEM myX-6 is shown at the Cebit, on the SAGEM stand, Hall 26, stand E32 and will be available next May 2003 for Euro 399 (public price).
