In addition, combined KVM Switch and Serial Console Server revenues in APAC will have a compound annual growth rate of 17% through 2007. Consumption will be highly driven by the enterprise markets looking to improve the consolidation and management of their servers. Increased Linux and Windows Penetrations Enterprises in APAC will respond to the increasing demands for new servers by investing more capital on remote management infrastructure. Devices such as Serial Console Servers and KVM switches will add significant contributions to enterprise networks, as they enable managers and IT staff to consolidate their networks components. More and more companies are spreading and expanding their business locations. Countries such as China and India are witnessing a large growth in the IT services industry due to third parties off shoring their businesses to APAC. The need to manage their infrastructure remotely will drive revenues for technologies such as KVM over IP and Serial Console Servers. Many consumers and small business will adopt the KVM technology to minimize clutter and space in their office. Personal/desktop KVM switches are practical to handle, and can be purchased at an inexpensive price.
