GXS AND G INTERNATIONAL MERGER APPROVED BY UK COMPETITION COMMISSION

| GXS, a leading provider of business-to-business e-commerce solutions, today announced that the United Kingdom's (UK) Competition Commission has approved the acquisition of G International's UK business by GXS's majority shareholder Francisco Partners. As a result, GXS is now free to complete the merger of the UK businesses of GXS and G International. On August 1, 2005, GXS announced global completion of the merger with G International, subject to maintaining separate operations in the UK pending completion of the Competition Commission's inquiry. |

As a result, GXS is now free to complete the merger of the UK businesses of GXS and G International. On August 1, 2005, GXS announced global completion of the merger with G International, subject to maintaining separate operations in the UK pending completion of the Competition Commission's inquiry.
