GS1 GLOBAL REGISTRY CERTIFIES GXS DATA POOLS

Global eXchange Services, a leading provider of B2B e-commerce solutions, announced today that its Data Pools passed the Global Data Synchronization Network Interoperability Certification. As a result, GXS now powers more GDSN-certified data pools than any other service provider worldwide.

In an earlier announcement, GS1 announced that three data pools powered by GXS successfully completed GDSN Interoperability Certification, including Electronic Commerce Council of Canada's ECCnet Data Pool, e.centre's GS1 UK Data Pool and GXS' Managed Data Pool service. GXS currently powers the data pools for seven GS1 organizations. The Drummond Group Inc., a leading interoperability and conformance testing company, conducted the certification.
