FUEL CELL MANUFACTURERS GET TO MARKET FASTER WITH ELECTRONICS FROM AGILE SYSTEMS
22 February 2001 - Agile Systems

Agile Systems Inc. announced today that it has introduced a series of DigitalPowerTM and control electronics for stationary fuel cell applications.

Agile Systems Inc. announced today that it has introduced a series of DigitalPowerTM and control electronics for stationary fuel cell applications.

Agile has developed solutions for both Co-operative Generation and Remote Power applications. 'With our expertise in power and control management, we plan to move fuel cells closer to wide spread acceptance', said Agile CEO, Robert Lankin.

As fuel cell technology advances, the flexibility of Agile's DigitalPowerTM modules will suit changing requirements. Programmable parameters ensure that the intellectual property of each fuel cell manufacturer is protected. At the same time, a standard Powerlibrary(TM) of previously developed features enable manufacturers a quicker time to market. 'Cost per Kilowatt reduction is key to fuel cell commercialization. Agile meets this challenge through its patented technologies and use of the latest in DigitalPowerTM design,' said Lankin.

Agile Systems also announced the appointment of Don MacAdam to the position of President. An Agile Board member since 1996, MacAdam brings over twenty years experience in strategic and financial leadership with companies including CRS Robotics Corporation, a Canadian based manufacturer of robots, and TM Bioscience Corporation, a publicly traded, Canadian biotechnology company.
