FIELDBUS TERRITORY' PLANNED FOR END USERS, INTEGRATORS, CONTRACTORS AND ENGINEERS

The Fieldbus Foundation, conducting its 2005 General Assembly in Vienna, Austria, today announced it is planning a major exhibition of FOUNDATION fieldbus at the forthcoming Interkama 2005 International Trade Fair, to be held April 11-15 in Hannover, Germany. Based on the theme 'Freedom to Choose. Power to Integrate,' the exhibit will feature a large 'FOUNDATION fieldbus Territory' consisting of a central FF stand with member company satellite booths in the immediate surrounding area, giving a marketplace atmosphere where the many flavors of FOUNDATION technology applications can be sampled.

The Fieldbus Foundation's stand (Hall 7, A10) will offer an extensive overview of key fieldbus applications, and experts from all major member companies will be available to help end users, integrators, contractors and engineers acquire a broad depth of information and to exchange insights with other fieldbus users. Attendees will have an opportunity to see the extensive range of registered FOUNDATION fieldbus devices, host systems, tools and services available from the world's leading automation equipment suppliers. Presentations at member satellite booths will show the added value liberated by FOUNDATION fieldbus technology, including configuration, asset management and plantwide integration.
