Mr. Ball was formerly the President of Poly-Scientific, Division of Northrop Grumman, a position he's held since 1996. Poly-Scientific was acquired by Moog on September 30, 2003. Renamed the Moog Components Group, the $133 million operation now comprises Moog's fourth segment and is headquartered in Blacksburg, Virginia. The Components Group is a manufacturer of motion control and data transmission devices. Its principal products are electrical and fiber optic slip rings, brushless D.C. motors, and electromechanical actuators. It employs about 1,000 people in three locations: Blacksburg, Virginia; Springfield, Pennsylvania; and Murphy, North Carolina. 'Larry has provided strong and effective leadership for Litton Poly-Scientific and, we're delighted to welcome him to Moog's management team,' said R.T. Brady, Chairman and CEO. Mr. Ball holds an MBA from Villanova University and a BS in Business Administration from West Chester University. He and his wife Vicky live in Blacksburg with their three children: Kristin, Kelly, and Kevin. Moog Inc. is a worldwide manufacturer of precision control components and systems.
