MOOG CLOSES ON PERKINELMER SPACE VALVE PRODUCT LINE

| Moog Inc. announced today that the company closed on an acquisition from PerkinElmer Fluid Sciences of the principal assets associated with their Space Valve Product Line, formerly known as Wright Components. The business has annual sales of $3 million in the design and manufacture of solenoid and pressure operated valves for satellites, launch vehicles and manned space flight applications. This is a well-established product line, particularly with manufacturers of thrusters for satellite propulsion, one of Moog's major market concentrations.
