MASKREY EVP AND COO IS ELECTED BY MOOG

| Mr. Maskrey joined Moog in 1964. He began his career at Moog working in new product development and has been involved in the development of aircraft flight controls, including the F-15 fighter and the B-2 bomber, and has worked on industrial control systems, as well. In 1985, Mr. Maskrey was promoted from Chief Engineer to Vice President and General Manager of what is now the Aircraft Group. In 1998, he became a Director of the Company. |
Moog Inc. announced today that its Board of Directors has elected Robert H. Maskrey, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Maskrey joined Moog in 1964. He began his career at Moog working in new product development and has been involved in the development of aircraft flight controls, including the F-15 fighter and the B-2 bomber, and has worked on industrial control systems, as well. In 1985, Mr. Maskrey was promoted from Chief Engineer to Vice President and General Manager of what is now the Aircraft Group. In 1998, he became a Director of the Company. 'Over the years, Bob has worked on many of the most important military programs ever awarded to our Company,' said R.T. Brady, Chairman and CEO. 'As its General Manager, Bob built the Aircraft Group, through internal growth and acquisitions, to over $300 million in sales, about 50% of our total revenues. In this new position, Bob will have the opportunity to bring his insight and managerial skill to bear on all of the Company's line operations, including Aircraft, Systems, and International.' Mr. Maskrey received his BSME and MSME from MIT. He resides with Maureen, his wife, in East Aurora, New York. Moog Inc. is a worldwide manufacturer of precision control components and systems.
