Echternach, Luxembourg – GE Fanuc, the world leader in CNC technology, is making a number of significant product announcements at EMO. Aimed at the complete spectrum of machines from entry-level turning to complex 5-axis machining, the new hardware and software enhancements offer users higher performance, easier operation, increased precision and improved productivity.

Aimed at the complete spectrum of machines from entry-level turning to complex 5-axis machining, the new hardware and software enhancements offer users higher performance, easier operation, increased precision and improved productivity.

GE Fanuc CNCs have the world's highest reliability. The company will be announcing new functions for its Series 30i and 31i-A5 controllers to ease operation and provide greater precision and higher productivity for complex 5-axis machining. Visitors will see the multi-axis, multi-path Nano CNC Series 30i/31i/32i, the high-speed, high-precision Nano CNC Series 16i/18i/21i-MODEL B, and the high cost-performance, ultra-compact Series 0i/0i Mate–MODEL C for entry-level machines.

For entry-level turning, GE Fanuc will be demonstrating new shop floor programming software, Turn Mate i, for its 0i-TC / 0i Mate-TC Series CNCs. For the higher level shop floor programming of milling, turning and compound machines, GE Fanuc's interactive software, Manual Guide i, has been upgraded to offer new facilities and further enhance ease-of-use. It is supported by Manual Guide i Simulator which provides independent learning and simulation on a PC, with the ability to upload part programs to a CNC if required.

Other hardware announcements and demonstrations on the stand include enhancements to GE Fanuc's wide range of torque, linear motors and drive systems, and a new high performance laser cutting package. On the booth of the FANUC Group, there will also be demonstrations of complete systems involving robots and machine tools for unmanned production. This unique and innovative Robot Cell will have its first viewing in Europe at EMO.
