NEW GENERAL MANAGER FOR CNC BUSINESS AT GE FANUC FRANCE

Löffler enthused about his new role. Echternach, Luxembourg – GE Fanuc Automation Europe has promoted Nicolas Löffler to General Manager and Commercial Manager, responsible for CNC operations in France.

Löffler enthused about his new role. 'I am particularly looking forward to working with the French machine tool manufacturers involved in the new PSA Peugeot Citroen Française de Mécanique power train plant, to ensure their successful participation in the project,' he said. 'We shall be seeking to improve our presence alongside our MTB and retro-fitting partners. Across Europe the company is investing in additional resources, including enhanced application support to help our customers become more competitive and successful.

'I shall also be actively seeking to expand the company's partnership with other companies throughout France, looking for new automation opportunities alongside our sister company FANUC Robotics, and at other applications where high reliability numerical control and drives technology can improve plant productivity,' he added.

Löffler is well prepared to develop GE Fanuc's business in France, having followed his computer science diploma with fourteen years in the machine tool numerical control business. Ten of these years in the Swiss GE Fanuc office have provided very varied experience across a range of technologies, first as an application engineer and then as a sales engineer.
