GE FANUC AUTOMATION UK TO HANDLE SALES AND SUPPORT OF GE FANUC INTELLUTION PRODUCTS

Echternach, Luxembourg – In order to further develop and maximise the growth of GE Fanuc Intellution products, GE Fanuc Automation UK has reached agreement with Fortetion Limited, with the full co-operation of all of the Fortetion directors, and has taken over responsibility for the sales and support of Intellution products in the UK.

The takeover of Intellution and Mountain Systems significantly increased GE Fanuc's presence in the areas of Production Management and in Process Execution and Supervisory Control. Intellution products include:

for plant intelligence - InfoAgent is a Web-based solution for scalable visualisation and analysis portal for plant and other data throughout an enterprise, while iHistorian is a high performance store for collecting, digitising and storing plant data.

for process execution and supervisory control - iFIX is targeted at process applications of many types, including 'Special Fit' functionality for specific industries, such as Oil and Gas, Food and Beverage, Pharmaceutical and regulated industries with 21 CFR Part 11 compliance requirements, and Water and Wastewater. Both iFIX and CIMPLICITY HMI will continue to be developed and supported so that customers can rest assured their investment in these products will continue to be protected.

for process automation - iBatch is a hierarchical object-orientated batch configuration and runtime control solution, enabling pharmaceutical manufacturers to comply with 21 CFR 11.

and, iGlobalCare connects the customer with support professionals and enables them to view information.
