NNE OPENS OFFICE IN SWITZERLAND TO SERVE THE LIFE SCIENCE INDUSTRY

NNE, a leading provider of consulting, engineering, construction and validation services focused on life science, has opened an office in Geneva to serve the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries in Switzerland and neighbouring countries.

Hans Ole Voigt, President of NNE, said: 'Over the years, we have learnt from our clients that to be the ideal partner, we must complement excellence in life science with geographical proximity. Our new office in Switzerland puts us at the heart of one of the world's leading biotechnology and pharmaceutical clusters where many research, development and production facilities are located. Can Habib, General Manager of NNE's Switzerland branch, said: 'Switzerland's sophisticated scientific environment, pro-business climate and highly skilled and quality-conscious workforce continue to stimulate and attract investments in life science.' He noted that these investments range from research laboratories to pilot plants, revamps and greenfield facilities. 'This diversity of investments will allow us to put into full use NNE's unique competences in fast-track delivery of greenfield facilities, minimum-impact revamps, automation, process analytical technology and lean GMP and respond to the needs of young start-ups as well as large multinationals,' he added.

The Geneva Economic Development Office actively supports the installation of NNE's Switzerland branch. Its representative, Michel Hirsig, said: 'We are happy to welcome NNE to Geneva; it will be a great asset for Geneva's life science cluster that is already considered as a top European location in its field. We will help NNE to integrate into the local economic community through a constant relationship.'
