NNE SHOWED GOOD RESULTS IN 2004

| 2004 featured favourable business progress for NNE in both Denmark and internationally. A significantly higher level of activity than expected enabled NNE to continue the investment in new markets and still achieve satisfactory financial results. |
Pre-tax profit for the year was DKK 56 million, reflecting a pre-tax profit margin of 6%, which is regarded as satisfactory and in line with the expectations for 2004. The long-term target is to increase the pre-tax profit margin to the range of 7-10%. Net turnover for the year amounted to DKK 1,016 million, 6% above last year's figure of DKK 959 million. In accordance with NNE's internationalisation strategy, the turnover generated outside Denmark in 2004 rose to DKK 98 million, corresponding to an increase of 40% compared to 2003. The client base continues to expand rapidly, and the turnover from clients outside the Novo Nordisk Group rose to DKK 174 million in 2004, a 15% increase compared to 2003. Hans Ole Voigt, President of NNE, comments: - It has indeed been a good year for NNE with satisfying results. I am especially pleased about the increasing activity level abroad, not least in NNE's subsidiaries in France, Sweden, USA and China. It confirms that the future expansion in our business will be based on projects outside Denmark.
