NNE ESTABLISHED IN FRANCE

NNE France will initially focus on supporting the Novo Nordisk Group expansion in France. It is the objective to offer a range of services based on experience from NNE's many projects in Denmark, but adjusted to French needs and project culture. NNE thus aims at continuing as main supplier of pharmaceutical consultancy services to Novo Nordisk in France.

As of 1 January 2004 NNE A/S has founded a subsidiary in France. NNE France SAS is located in Chartres, approx. 80 km southwest of Paris.

NNE France currently has nine employees, mainly Danish engineers with experience from similar projects for Novo Nordisk A/S. Jesper Vedel, General Manager of NNE France, on the set up of the new subsidiary: - The idea is that the Danish employees provide the specific know-how essential to the client while passing on the general NNE project competences to the French organisation and future locally employed engineers. The local employees contribute with useful knowledge and experience from French industry, and their competences and values will be anchored in NNE France.

On the long view NNE France will build up a broad clientele, and the company will act as bridgehead for all NNE's activities in France and other French-speaking regions in Europe.
