NNE's activities in the US are increasing, and the engineering consultancy company has now established a subsidiary in Clayton, North Carolina. NNE US Inc. will manage all NNE's activities in the US, and with the opening of offices in Clayton, the company has become close to Novo Nordisk in the US to support its international expansion.

NNE US Inc. will manage all NNE's activities in the US, and with the opening of offices in Clayton, the company has become close to Novo Nordisk in the US to support its international expansion.

- Our vision is to be the preferred supplier of consultancy and engineering services to companies in the Novo group, including the Clayton site, says Bo Harvig, director of NNE US Inc. – We can cover any need for engineering consultancy, modernisation and optimisation of pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities, as we can draw on a large home base of employees with competencies going wide and deep. From project to project we will partner up with local engineering companies to meet with authority requirements and national or local methods and traditions.

So far, NNE US Inc. has three employees, all with many years of experience from the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. The strategy is to build up an independent organisation in Clayton with focus on local clients, first of all Novo Nordisk. But NNE US Inc. also works for other clients in the US, eg GlaxoSmithKline.

NNE has more than 80 years' experience as a supplier of consultancy and engineering services and process plants for the international pharmaceutical and biotechnological industries. With a staff of more than 1,000, NNE is the largest Nordic consultancy in this segment. NNE A/S is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Danish pharmaceutical company Novo Nordisk A/S.
