'The Globepoint model is how the power and process design industry will operate in the future,' said Bo Memhave, Director of IT, NNE. 'The Internet changes the way we collaborate which has helped to create this new business opportunity. Globepoint addresses issues such as the need for online licensing and support for current project portfolios, lower total cost of ownership, cross-company project management and unlimited access to information anytime, anywhere.''Globepoint is taking the traditional ASP model to a new level,' said Dr. Jeffrey Hollings, President and CEO, Rebis. 'It is a specialized ASP offering which includes consulting, development, automation and integration services that focus on the core business, rather than IT systems. Our model creates easier project collaboration and higher flexibility for more efficient life-cycle management of facilities while reducing the total cost of ownership.'

Rebis estimates that through 2004, ASPs will become a critical channel to market for enterprise applications, with approximately 30 percent of applications being sourced through ASPs. With the expertise of NNE and its partners, Rebis will offer faster and more cost efficient project solutions to this market.

Rebis, the largest supplier of PC plant design solutions in the world, measured by its installed base of over 65,000 products is committed to providing quality workgroup software for plant design and management. Rebis markets products for both conceptual and detailed plant design, as well as systems to manage the full operational lifecycle of these facilities. Rebis offers a complete suite of integrated applications for piping, structural, process and instrumentation design and management, pipe stress and fluid flow analysis, and plant information management for AutoCAD and MicroStation.
