American Rebis, the leading software company within plant design and management software, and NNE have formed a joint venture by the name of Globepoint A/S. Globepoint is an e-business company that develops and markets processes and plant design for the Scandinavian market. The company will not only represent a unique business opportunity for NNE, but also be a frontrunner in the constellation of a software company and an industrial organization joining up to develop and market industrial services. The concept of Globepoint is based on four business areas: Software Hosting, supplying Autodesk and ASP products designed by Rebis for current and new clients.
Software Sales and Consulting, where Rebis is responsible for traditional sales of software licenses and NNE provides consultancy services.
Collaboration Services, developing optimum sharing of project know how with external partners via the Internet.
E-Catalogues that will eventually become a catalogue concept for standard products within plant design (e.g. in order to rapidly provide price estimates).
