NNE PARTICIPATES IN THE FIRST LARGE BUILDING PROJECT AT ØRESTAD

| The pharmaceutical company Ferring has just celebrated the topping-out ceremony of their 80 metre high-rise building 'Ferring International Center' at Ørestad, Denmark. A building project worth approx. USD 40 million. |
The pharmaceutical company Ferring has just celebrated the topping-out ceremony of their 80 metre high-rise building 'Ferring International Center' at Ørestad, Denmark. A building project worth approx. USD 40 million. New R&D facilities are being built for 300-400 employees, 50 m from Ørestad Station and close to highway, airport, the Øresund Bridge and the center of Copenhagen. The purpose is to join R&D resources from Vanløse, Malmö and Kiel under one roof in a Ferring International Center as of January 2002. The building is a 20-storey steel construction tower for administration and support facilities and an E-shaped 3-storey building for R&D laboratories, 22,000 m2 in total. The project is executed in a partnership between client Nieuw Friesland, building for Ferring, consultants and main contractor to ensure an R&D center of supreme quality, a project with many partners and challenges. As consultant NNE are responsible for project management, HVAC, CTS and laboratory design.
