NEW ORDER IN NOVO'S LARGEST DANISH INVESTMENT

NNE and GEA Liquid Processing Scandinavia A/S have formed a consortium which will carry out specific assignments for Novo Nordisk A/S in connection with its new Insulin Bulk Plant in Kalundborg. The contract establishing the new consortium, which will bear the name 'GEANNE I/S', was signed on Wednesday 13 September 2000 by the finance director of GEA, Morten Johansen, and the corporate manager of NNE, Hans Ole Voigt.

In what is Novo Nordisk's largest Danish project to date, GEANNE I/S will be responsible for planning and setting up the CIP system of the production plant. The project has a value in excess of DKK 10 million and is expected to be completed in the autumn of 2001.
