The Omniflex Dual Trip Amplifier is all you need for safety critical applications, where set points reached using 4-20mA, 0-10V (1-5V), or other inputs need to trigger alarms. The Omniflex Dual Trip Amplifier is all you need for safety critical applications, with set poits reached using 4-20mA, 0-10V (1-5V), Universal Inputs such as TC, mV, RTD, V, or frequency signals, producing an alarm to either alarm annunciators, PLCs or DCS Systems. These High Accuracy Dual Trip Amplifiers are equipped with two settable limit alarms/trips with an optional re-transmit and they are USER configurable in minutes. This allows the user to keep only one type on the shelf, minimising stock holding and reducing inventory costs. No field calibration is required on these units which also means low installation and commissioning costs. The trip amplifiers have been designed to meet the criteria for SIL 1 applications with high reliability in mind. For example, a built-in wire break detection circuit that will de-energise the trip relays is a standard feature.
