MICRO TERMINAL BLOCK ADDRESS MINIATURISATION NEEDS AND HAS HIGH CURRENT CAPABILITY
Available from specialist distributor Switchtec, a small PC terminal block from Euroclamp meets manufacturers' ongoing demands for smaller components due to product miniaturisation. The MV13 series addresses this need whilst offering a useful high current capability. Used in PCB assembly applications where small size is critical, the MV13 Micro PC terminal block is aimed at OEMs, CEMs PCB assemblers, 'kitters' and end users. Exhibiting versatility, the terminals are available in four pitch sizes to meet various needs; 3.5, 3.81, 7.0, and 7.62mm. Competitively priced, Euroclamp's MV13 'micro' terminal block is rated at 12A and hence designed and produced for manufacturers and customers who require a high current capability, but for whom the mini terminal block is often too big. It has voltage ratings of 450V and 130V in pitch sizes 7.0/7.62mm and 3.5/3.81mm respectively. The MV13 is available as multi-way terminal blocks from 2 to 12 poles, and as an optional extra it can be supplied with an anti rotation peg to provide extra strength and security. Enabling it to deployed in a wide range of products, especially for equipment that is for export, the MV13 series is approved by IMQ, CSA/UL, VDE and has the CE mark. It is also fully RoHS compliant. Each metal part of the terminals is optimised for its purpose; the clamp screws are galvanised steel, terminal clamps are nickeled copper alloy, and the PCB solder terminals are tin-plated copper alloy to achieve high integrity soldered connections. Euroclamp has used its extensive knowledge and experience to produce the MV-13 terminal blocks, and has also invested in new machinery and technology to develop and manufacture the series. Switchtec holds large stocks of all Euroclamp products and is able to supply the MV13 series in short delivery timescales.
