PCB SUPPORTS ARE DIN COMPATIBLE FOR QUICK INSTALLATION IN PANELS

Fulfilling the need to mount PCBs onto DIN rail, specialist distributor Switchtec has introduced the Euroclamp M-45 modular support system. Aimed at panel builders 'kitters', OEMs and PCB manufacturers, the supports speed the installation of PCBs into panels, and reduce costs by avoiding custom design work and the fabrication of special brackets or metalwork.

Due to the modular system and the different sizes of modules available, the housings can be adapted to fit most lengths of PCB. Quick mounting is ensured by way of the 'slot together' system and the DIN clip. As a result, PCBs can be mounted in position is seconds.

Offering versatility, the Euroclamp M-45G system allows 'top hat' or 'G' type DIN fittings to be accommodated for compatibility with various styles of DIN rail. Competitively priced, the M-45 support is created by combining several elements of different measurements. According to the sizing needed for the PCB, and the available dimensions of support components, different elements can be interlocked together to obtain a complete support.

PCBs up to 1.9mm thick can be accommodated and the ability to mark/identify is provided. The M-45 PCB support system is compatible with terminal blocks from Euroclamp's vast range, enabling quick, easy hook up to external devices and connections.

The supports are available from Switchtec in a standard colour of grey in self extinguishing PA VO (UL94), however other colours can be specified to order.
