A range of industrial sounders from specialist distributor Switchtec includes models featuring a visual beacon, providing a 'double warning' in one package. Aimed at OEMs, security and fire alarm manufacturers, panel builders and wholesalers, the sounders meet all the requirements for an integrated double warning device at a competitive price.

Dubbed the 'SLEM' range from leading manufacturer Sirena, the units are available in five styles to meet a wide variety of applications. These are; sounder only, continuous light and sound, flashing light and continuous sound, Xenon flashing light and continuous sound, and integrated LED and continuous sound.

The units incorporate Sirena's unique integrated LED, giving the brightness of a filament bulb but with the robustness and lifespan of LED technology. Whilst the core technology itself is not unique to Sirena, the company's lens design creates a diffusion of light that is very clear, bright, and has uniform spread.

The combined Sirena sounder/beacons feature a three-connection terminal that enables the customer to independently control the sounder and beacon. A sound output level of 92-96dB provides a 'loud and clear' warning, and showing versatility, an integrated mounting bracket enables quick and easy installation in a variety of positions.
