An important feature is the provision of 'finger safe' male and female inserts with protection against accidental contact according to IEC 60529, ensuring safe mating in primary-side frequency convertor connections.

The Han Q 4/2 is designed for use with the Han Compact range of plastic housings, and includes a coding facility in which a pin is used instead of the fixing screw with a choice of three different configurations.
