MYSTICOM SEMICONDUCTOR TO SHOWCASE INDUSTRY LEADING 10G ETHERNET SOLUTIONS AT THE 9TH ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL IC CONFERENCE & EXHIBITION IN CHINA
Mysticom Semiconductor will showcase the industry's leading solution for 10 Gigabit copper cabling with a demonstration of 10 Gbps data transmission over 30 meters of InfiniBand cable at the 9th Annual International IC Conference & Exhibition in Shanghai, China (March 1, 2) at Booth T1 and Shenzhen, China (March 8, 9) at Booth K14. This superior data transmission at extended distance doubles the reach of copper links compliant to the newly ratified IEEE 802.3 10GBASE-CX4 standard from the specified 15 meter distance to 30 meters. The real life tests confirm that Mysticom's MY3124 XAUI to CX4 Retiming Transceiver provides a reliable and cost effective solution for applications that previously relied on high cost optical components, further accelerating the deployment of 10G Ethernet. The test setup at the International IC Conference & Exhibition includes end-to-end 10GBASE-CX4 compliant communication links running error-free over 30 meters simulating a real time network environment. The two MY3124 XAUI to CX4 Retiming Transceivers will exchange a variety of IEEE802.3, 10GBASE-CX4 compliant data patterns (including the most stressful CJPAT).
