SKYHAWKE REDUCES SIZE OF NEW DIGITAL GOLF RANGE FINDER WITH SARANTEL GPS ANTENNA
The SG2 provides instant range information for multiple golf targets per hole for over 3,000 golf courses in eight countries spanning North America, Europe, and Asia. The Sarantel antenna reduces the size of the SG2 without compromising performance. About the size of a cell phone, the SG2 Personal Digital Caddie clips unobtrusively onto a golfer's belt or bag and computes position data via 24 GPS satellites. Ranges are computed automatically to within a couple of meters for pre-programmed locations on each hole, such as bunkers, water hazards, and any point on the green. The SG2 also computes the length of golf shots with the simple touch of a button. SkyHawke selected Sarantel's GeoHelix GPS antenna for the SG2 product due to its size and proven efficacy in small, hand-held GPS receivers. The GeoHelix does not de-tune when held by or near the golfer, causing the receiver to lose accuracy, a problem suffered by conventional GPS antennas.
