LENZE HAS INCREASED ITS SALES BY 4 PERCENT.

In a Management Buy-out, the Lenze brakes operation in Aerzen has been sold and will now trade as INTORQ Gmbh & Co KG. General Managers and shareholders of INTORQ are the former Managers and Dr Matthias Brendler.

Lenze Chief Executive Dr Erhard Tellbuscher states "The decision to sell this business was made to concentrate our efforts on the core business with electronics, gearboxes, motors and controls. Nevertheless brake products are still an important part of our gearbox and motor business. Lenze sales companies will continue to sell these products and look to expanding the brakes business".

The INTORQ factory in Aerzen near Hameln, Germany was built in 1999. Equipped with modern production systems and new storage technology, it provides ideal conditions for fast delivery and high product quality. Flexible assembly systems can produce 1000 brakes of different types per shift, which is 350000 brakes & clutches per year.

The INTORQ range comprises spring applied brakes for clutches and brakes from 0.12 to 600Nm, plus energise to engage clutches and brakes from 3.5 to 480Nm and clutch/brake combinations. This range will be expanded with new models in the near future.
