NEW GEARED MOTORS ESPECIALLY FOR USE IN OVERHEAD CONVEYORS

Designed for light and medium loads, these gearboxes achieve a high degree of efficiency thanks to their helical bevel gearing. Torques of 70 and 160 Nm are available at maximum radial loads of 5,600 and 8,000 N. Their compact dimensions comply with the VDI guideline 3643 (C1 standard).

Both the GKK04 and GKK05 installation sizes are equipped with a mechanical clutch between the input shaft and the gearbox, with which the drive can be interrupted via a clutch lever. It is thus possible to manually move a trolley with minimal effort.

Lenze design engineers have mounted the clutch lever on the side opposite the motor. This means that the GKK can also be used for floor conveyors. Besides flange construction, the gearboxes are available with tapped fixing holes on the top and bottom sides. This results in further mounting possibilities.

Together with the decentralised motor controls of the OCU series (overhead control unit) from Lenze DETO, a complete drive system is available to manufacturers of conveyor technology. The components are coordinated and can thus be designed in faster and more precisely for various conveyor designed in faster and more precisely for various conveyor capacities, drive profiles or transport speeds.

The decentralised motor control works with brushgear or induction to transfer power and signals. It unifies the complete motion management of the trolley, including speed control, motor monitoring, distance control, data transfer and diagnosis in a rugged housing.
