Emerson Process Management announces a portfolio of Rosemount measurement devices to measure pressure, temperature, level, and flow in bio-technology and pharmaceutical applications that require reliable, safe, and hygienic designs. All of the products feature process contact surfaces constructed of FDA approved materials designed in accordance with 3A and EHEDG standards. Crevice-free, stainless steel housings provide users with cleanable and hygienic surfaces for critical hygienic applications. The quality and stability of Rosemount instrumentation allows extended calibration intervals, resulting in increased productivity, improved maintenance practices, and a lower total cost of ownership. Rosemount devices also offer improved "batch-to-batch repeatability," meaning they can withstand hundreds of CIP/SIP cycles without drifting beyond the specification limit. Better batch-to-batch repeatability reduces the risk of a non-compliant product, a critical factor in pharmaceutical and bio-technology applications. Rosemount transmitters are part of Emerson's broad range of intelligent, digital field devices that power the PlantWeb digital plant architecture to improve plant efficiency by 2% and more through delivering asset optimization, process automation, and management execution. Further cost savings, increased plant availability, and enhanced safety and environmental compliance are achieved when the transmitters are integrated into the PlantWeb architecture.
