TROLLTECH'S QT/EMBEDDED AVAILABLE FOR BLUECAT LINUX

LynuxWorks and Trolltech are pleased to announce the availability of Trolltech's Qt/Embedded for LynuxWorks' BlueCat Linux. The new agreement bundles Qt/Embedded with LynuxWorks' BlueCat Linux. LynuxWorks will resell and offer professional services, as well as work with Trolltech to ensure that Qt/Embedded is fully supported. Trolltech and LynuxWorks will also pursue joint marketing and sales efforts.

"With the explosion of consumer devices requiring our embedded operating systems, this type of GUI is going to help embedded developers who haven't had this level of sophistication."

Qt/Embedded is a C++ GUI toolkit and windowing system that brings the full power of Qt, and all of its advantages, to embedded Linux systems. It combines small size, rich functionality, and the ability to build code in familiar environments to allow programmers to quickly create solutions for embedded systems. Porting existing Qt-based applications to Qt/Embedded can be done quickly and efficiently, usually only requiring a simple cross-compile.
