New industrial pressure transmitters for highly corrosive and aggressive media

The media wetted housing material is manufactured from a highly chemical resistant PPS plastic (Polyphenylensulfide). DCXL ultra low pressure sensors offer improved performance characteristics

27 September 2005 - Sensortechnics GmbH Sensortechnics' DCXL series of precision low pressure sensors from Honeywell now features a newly redesigned stress concentration enhanced structure for improved performance characteristics. In this new design, the outer package embodying the two mounting holes is mechanically decoupled from the inner part holding the silicon sensing elements to ensure optimum stress isolation. Further, the new sensor package now includes matched pressure port volumes enhancing dynamic response times for fast pressure transient applications.

The sensors are precision calibrated and temperature compensated using the latest ASIC technologies. The 50S series reaches a high overall accuracy (including temperature effects) of ±0.5 to ±2 % Full Scale Span, and is intended to be used with air and non-corrosive gases. The 50S sensors fully comply with the European standards for EMC EN61000-4-3, EN61000-4-6 and EN 55011.

New submersible level sensor CTE9000CS for low level measurement from 1 m water column

04 November 2004 - Sensortechnics GmbH Sensortechnics' new submersible transmitter series CTE9000CS offers measurement for low level ranges from 1 m water column (100 mbar) Full Scale. Due to its outside diameter of only 21.8 mm, these transmitters are ideal for use in small-diameter probe tubes or tanks with small apertures. An all welded stainless steel diaphragm eliminates all internal elastomeric seals and thus releases users from problematic O-ring compatability issues.
